Buds Exploding....

With the  past couple of days of dreich, rainy weather the buds are exploding!

Spent a few hours in the mudroom, sieving glazes.....my absolutely least favorite job!!!  messy, hard on my back etc!   anyway, most of it is done.

Then off to Baddeck to the Library's fundraiser, Living Mannequins!   An amazingly entertaining 2 hours of books being dramatized for us!   There were 12 stations set up, each with a small section of a book being presented, in costume and mostly not just read.   Along with 12 tasty little morsels that somehow correlated to the scene from the book!   Amazing!   and our library is, like a lot of village libraries, very small and packed to the gills!

Now for a quiet evening!
