New Holland Honeyeater

These gorgeous birds still flit around the gum nuts on the eucalypts that line our street.  I stood for half an hour in the middle of the road and just kept shooting.  This I liked because it seems to be eating an insect.  They never sit still for long so I am having to learn patience.
