Moon at sunrise

This morning in the Blue Mountains was clear and cool. Good weather for a run. As I started I saw the moon, coloured by the rising sun. Only had the little Canon, and no tripod. So I'm pleased with the result.

Coming back, I heard and then saw a large number of sulphur crested cockatoos fly overhead. They collected in one tree in particular and almost as many again were perched nearby. Then another bird arrived to perch on a pole. It is my first extra; a long billed corella. The cockatoos are the second extra.
