Paella pedalling

Finishing off the day eating an amazing paella on the sea front after a lazy start, a couple of hours cycling and an hour at a coffee stop mirador, rounded the day off rather well.

We went through Alcudia and out to the Cap des Pinar, heading up to the Ermita de la Victoria on the way back and through some pretty back lanes behind the nature reserve. Thankfully, the wind has died down significantly and the sun is still shining. We even managed an hour or so sunbathing back home before much needed showers, snacks and more chilling out.

Liz has made the remarkable discovery of the small gear wheel on the front which she'd thought was for cycling fast on the flat. Now she knows it's for uphill, I'm hoping I don't get burnt off tomorrow... For the last six months, she's been making it up hills in the bottom of top gear! If I'd been quick enough, maybe I should have waited to tell her until the flight home!
