Return to the North

Sis suggested last night that we head to Harlow Carr today - a RHS Garden up near Harrogate. As I love the outdoors, flowers and wildlife I couldn't really refuse.
I did mention yesterday that today might be a flower blip BUT the Great tit won out? Mainly because i caught a sharp shot of it 'in the air'
We wandered around the gardens for ages admiring and photographing the flowers but most of my favourite shots were gathered at the table in Betty's open air cafe. Now normally when sat in the open air you might get sparrows and particularly chaffinches coming to feat on the left overs but at Harlow Carr you get a better class of bird visiting. Great tits, robins AND a nuthatch all visited the tables/floors around the tables looking for scraps. You can see the flowers and the birds here. there are rather a lot of lovely flower shots (flowers lovely not necessarily boasting about my shots of them) as well as a number of other bird shots.
