River of Flowers

Saturday: Strawberry Flowers

Very welcome rain overnight but the wind picked up mid morning and we enjoyed a dry but cooler day.
I potted on some cosmos which hadn't been eaten by slugs, also pricked out Calaloo which was started off on windowsill upstairs.
MrD cut the grass this afternoon and I used the clippings to mulch the raspberries.
I'm trying out a new strawberry this year, it has the prettiest pink flowers and is called "Just add Cream" we look forward to tasting them! The white flowered plants have been in the garden for decades, may even have come from from MrD's father's garden, they never disappoint :-))
Apologies for blurry photos, I should have been wearing my spectacles ...!
