Flying Home

An early start this morning to get to the airport in time for our flight home.   Even though we were only in Florida from Wednesday until today, we both feel like we've spent about two weeks there!  Very exhausting and emotional. 

A very boring picture, taken with my iPad somewhere over North Carolina (?), in one of the very few patches of blue sky and sunshine en route home.  We took off from Orlando, FL amidst cloudy skies and temperatures somewhere in the 80's (F), and landed in Westchester NY in heavy cloud and pouring rain with temperatures in the 40's (F).  Quite a difference!

Off to Boston first thing tomorrow with our repaired mirror to hang in our new dining room, while son Jamie dog sits for us, then home to CT in the afternoon.  Then we will load the dogs into the car on Sunday, and head back to Beantown on Sunday.  Never a dull moment around here.
