The Joker

I have spent a very interesting and enjoyable day at Square 1 Studio in Surrey.  It was a journey of over an hour but well worth it.  The day was one of the workshops organised through the RPS and today's was on Dramatic Dance.  The model was a dancer and was there with a makeup artist to pose in various guises through the day.

There were ten of us  on the workshop and we were shown several lighting setups and how to set screens, read a light meter and how to direct a model.  The leader of the day is a top photographer and was excellent in helping us as necessary. We had many opportunities to shoot individually and it was interesting watching others in their pose selection as well as directing our own.

The day was a Christmas present from the family so 'Thank you guys!'
