Horse Chestnut Candles and a Ladybird

Back to a regular Saturday today. A walk into town via the library to have a coffee and buy a few supplies to tide us over til the grocery delivery comes on Tuesday.

Then the regular Saturday afternoon jobs during the summer when there is no rugby. Susan works in the house while I'm at the allotment grubbing around in the soil. After weeding and netting peas, weeding broad beans and putting up supports, more weeding and grass cutting it was a pleasure to come home to a lovely house and a cup of tea.

A very pleasant Saturday evening, easy cooking as we were eating up the remains of a chilli I'd taken to the Peak District and some Dukkah which was considerably older (July last year). Enjoyed a glass of elderflower champagne too.
