Zrinjevac

Zrinjevac Park, Zagreb's oldest park which dates back to 1866.  Prior to that, it was mostly a muddy expanse, sometimes a cattle market, occasionally a show ground or trade fair.  The park is part of a U-shaped series of parks that run through central Zagreb, the 'Green Horseshoe' (another one blipped here, on 10 February 2017).  Interestingly, the bandstand was donated in 1890 by a private philanthropist, a wealthy trader.

[as you've noticed I am still filling in blip gaps - 5 to go).
