The old coast road

These are the derelict remains of the old road that used to run up the Atlantic coast line. It has finally been reclaimed by the power of the sea.
Since we were here last summer, there are noticeable changes in the backdrop to the beach.

The concrete slabs have a rusty orange glow in the afternoon sunshine which is my (slightly tenuous) link to the optional theme of 'Rust' for Derelict Sunday.
