Pike Place Market

The famous Pike Place Market was having a Mother's Day flower sale, the sun was out (most of the time), and we had another day free from yard work (our son and his wife were on a short vacation, we were watching their dog), so the choice of what to do was obvious. We see many brilliant flowers living in the tropical climate of Mexico but the variety on display here was astounding. The colors were also intensified with the different varieties bundled next to one another in stall after stall. Fortunately I had taken my new camera along to give it a try and so was able to capture bunches (pun intended) of shots.
