Happy Mothers Day it was

Went for a hike with our younger daughter and her children to the TomMcCall Preserve in the Gorge. The wildflowers were in their prime, so beautiful and so many varieties. We packed a lunch and ate it at the top. It was breezy, but sunny. The main blip is from the top of the trail (3.4 miles round trip, with a 1100 feet elevation gain), Columbia River is in the distance.
The extras are of the hiking crew, a shot from the trail, and a Western Tiger Swallowtail butterfly.
