The Lozarithm Lens

Lacock (Saturday 13th May 2017)

I drove over to Lacock on Saturday as the Wadworth Shires were going to be outside the Red Lion. When I arrived, however, they were not to be seen, although where they would have been was parked a rather handsome vintage Morris Six. When I enquired inside the girl at the bar told me they wouldn't be coming because a wheel had come off their transporter truck! This sounded rather dramatic but when Wadworth's reported the reason for their absence later they only referred to a puncture.

Instead, I took my baguette lunch into Lacock Abbey grounds to eat by the pond, and on the way had a look at their Botanic Gardens, where I found this iris (Monofied in Extras).
