The Valley Road

This is the colour I see at the moment on my drive to the Volunteer Centre in the Belair NP.  Today I hopped out of the car, and toddled up a track for a few metres and got this most gorgeous view.

The colour this year has been exceptional.  I expect it's the warm days and cold nights, and no rain.  And even though poplars are weeds, gosh they are lovely right now.
