The Quick Check

Monday was hard to concentrate when all either Sugar or I wanted to do was be home for the Quick Check.  That is what we call it when we put our hand in the bunny nest and check for warmth.  We try not disturb the babies, but make sure that they are all warm.  You don't really want a dead baby in with the live ones.  Sooooo after a super long day of work, school and dance, we made it home for the Quick Check.  Sugar did the honors and declared that all were warm, and there is at least 5.  We were hoping for a small litter, so I'd like just 5.  We'll see.  It made our hearts happy, though.  We are both so very ready for some baby bunnies in our lives.
