Greenfinch

A bird blip again I am afraid.  Currently I seem to be lacking in inspiration/opportunity when blipping.  This is a shot of the male from the pair of "Greenies" that are currently visiting the feeding station.   Numbers seem to have dropped around here over the last 12 months, however a quick look in "The state of the UK's Birds 2016" shows that it falls in the green sector of the indicator species.  So perhaps things aren't as bad I thought they might be.

The rest of the day was spent pottering round catching up on various jobs and collecting the caravan from it service ready for a trip starting at the weekend.
