Place Royale

Another photo from last week-end.

This is a statue on the fountain of Place Royale, Nantes. Inaugurated in 1865, it represents the Greek mythology sea goddess Amphitrite at its top, and statues representing different French rivers around it. This photo represents the river Loire, France's longest river that runs through Nantes.
