A Bridge too Far

As forecast, a lovely sunny day with some cloud cover.

A trip to B & Q to get some gardening tools etc, it brought back memories of when we lived in England.   We seemed to be there every weekend!   It still all looks the same with the same announcements!

After lunch Alan was up the ladder cleaning the gutters out and clearing away some of the moss whilst I brushed the decking.   Just sitting out in the sunshine having a welcome cuppa and a strange couple called out.   It was ValC and Mr C, in the area on a day out and dropped in to surprise us on their way home.

What a lovely surprise.   We had a great catch up for a couple of hours.   Really good to see them.

After dinner we went for a walk nearby, my blip today taken on a public footpath nearby.   It wasn't a very long footpath, enough for Holly as she recovers.
