Preparing

I was at a volunteer training day in town today (and now have done all the training to get my certificate) and the room we were in looked out across Dundee's newest public space, the Slessor Gardens. There was activity with cranes so when I got the chance for a proper look I could see they'd constructed a stage. I'd forgotten about it but UB40 are doing an open air concert at the weekend.
To counteract my day of sitting around we went to Perth to "race up (and down) Kinnoull Hill, which wasn't as hard as I thought it might be after Monday's run. It was a beautiful evening and I briefly appreciated the view from the top before a lovely run down. There was a record turn-out, the weather probably helped.
