Mooching Around Mochos

We were due to go to the hills with our greek friends for a picnic but the weather has gone cooler so we've put it back to Monday; with that disappointment we headed to one of our favourite villages which is in the mountains called Mochos for a mooch around.

I took a few photo's of the lovely greek houses but the one that I like best, and took it in mono, is the intriguing one of The Play Boy Pub which has obviously closed down - it seems the sleepy village of Mochos had no need for one! Someone thought there was a need; it makes me wonder if it ever had a hey-day!

The extra is of a church on the outskirts of Avdou village (near Mochos) with the view looking towards the reservoir near Potamies.

We watched the sun going down on the horizon as we supped chilled white wine from a 2 litre bottle for about £4.50 from the local supermarket. Too nice!
