The Annual Gull Watch

Every year about this time I tend to go down to the harbour regularly and climb up to the far harbour wall as it gives a tremendous view of the gulls nesting. It gives me a chance to practice my action photography with my biggest lens and to observe the birds on the nest until the chicks hatch. The particular pair I will be following are in the bottom left of my montage as they are the closest to the sea wall and offer the best view of the chicks when they arrive. I quite the view of the gull in full squawk (right top) and it was a shame that I could not quite get him to fit into the frame but I had my doubler on and failed to zoom back sufficiently
