The weekly chat

I had taken a few shots in Skib at lunchtime but got back too late to post last night. We were at Paul Brady and Andy Irvine, playing at the Opera House in Cork. They are reprising their seminal folk album, which was released 40 years ago! A huge and very appreciative crowd, mostly of a certain age relived the voices and the musicianship which didn't disappoint. Donal Lunny of Planxty, Moving Hearts etc and Kevin Burke of the liquid sounding fiddle ably assisted. A great gig for those who remember.
The original album here.  A few more from lunchtime here
