May flowers

Coming up to report time at work, and it's seemed a long week!

A few chores on arriving home and a walk round Wooler Common. The May looks glorious in full blossom.

Time for a quick meal before MrM drove us to Rothbury for the Open Mic session in one of the pubs, where he played some Gypsy Jazz as part of a trio. It was a busy pub and the music was in the main bar, full of people wanting to chat. The louder they chatted, the louder the music, and so on... And, like most Open Mic sessions, it was a mixture of good and not so good. A pleasant enough evening, but I wouldn't want to go too often.
