Simon had surgery on his shoulder today ..... eventually. It was mid afternoon by the time they took him down to theatre when it was originally supposed to have been early morning. Not nice having to wait around, I know, I've been there but all went well and pretty much his first response when he came round was that he was starving so he seems none the worse for his experience and hopefully this will fix his shoulder for good (it dislocates all too easily). Fingers crossed.
