Low tide....

...beautiful, deserted but showing definite signs that summer is on its way.

Friends took us to Westgate for the day, to see their new purchase...a garden flat right by the sea...and to enjoy a day at the seaside.

An early start and a good journey. After a coffee and sharing their joy in their new "weekend" home, we walked along the front towards Margate. The sky, sea and miles of sand were just wonderful!

Lunch in the Turner Pavilion after a browse round the Turner Contemporary exhibition, then onto the vintage shops for Christine and I. A cup of tea in The Cupcake Café before walking back to Westgate, this time on the sand. The ribs left by the tide had made wonderful patterns.

Home via Whitstable for a pizza dinner. Time was getting on...

The sunshine was such a gift and the magnificence of creation so evident.

Posting on Sunday morning....
