Assembly

The Church of Scotland General Assembly opened on Saturday in Edinburgh. I'm one of the commissioners (delegates) this year, so I'm not sure how I'll find the time to blip in the midst of everything else going on, but let's see how I get on.

This photo was taken in the Assembly Hall as people started to return for the afternoon session after lunch.

Earlier I was privileged to be one of the commissioners who welcomed HRH The Princess Royal as she arrived to represent the Queen as Lord High Commissioner. Didn't think that asking her for a selfie would have been acceptable protocol.
