The path less trodden

After a summer of physical inactivity it was good to get out on the hills with my friend B today. We went up a hill called Bryn Arw in the Black Mountains, just 15 minutes' drive north of Abergavenny. It's a bracken-covered hill and the paths are not well-marked or well-trodden, other than by sheep, but you can't really lose your way. This is the view to the north west.

When we were sitting on the ridge having a cup of tea I saw a flash of grey. It was a squirrel - strange to see him there far from any trees!

This view is worth looking at large.
