Guillemots

George's birthday today, and after a morning buzzing about doing various things in the encroaching dampness, we popped up to fetch him and see what he wanted to do with the day. Despite the ever-increasingly pessimistic weather forecast his choice was a wander at St Abbs. And hey, we managed to get half an hour without heavy rain, timed perfectly with reaching the Guillemot-encrusted cliffs. The rest of the time? Something about being soaked to the skin....

Evening meal was a nostalgia hit for Mel and George, though to be fair the quality was very much on the quantity side.
