A quiet family morning, catching up with everyone's news, then we oldies headed out with Sparky the dog for a leisurely afternoon walk up on to The Ridgeway, listening to the Skylarks and watching hares scampering across the fields. Back at the house, the rest of the afternoon disappeared while we sat in the garden and enjoyed the warm sunshine and a chilled bottle of Prosecco.
