Sunlit Bracken

I was out just after 6 a.m. with Finlay - giving my new boots their first outing. A heavy dew gave them a good soaking and they passed the waterproof test! Very comfortable too.

In the woods the sun was creating little patches of light and one just list up this bracken frond - so I stopped for my blip shot!

Finally got to cut the grass this afternoon - it has dried out after the soaking it got last week.
