Berrylicious- for the birds..

As September moves along Autumn and winter grow nearer and nearer..
I love seeing all the berries of various colours in the bushes getting ready for the cold and if we are to believe the old wives tales ,lots of berries means a cold winter!
So I have blipped the crop of berries on our Pyracantha hedge ,there are all there for now ,but come some cold weather they seem to disappear very rapidly!
I for one hope the old wives tale is wrong and that winter is not too cold this year..
