I'm Bugged....

...that I can't seem to identify these tiny creatures that love the volunteer sunflowers the birds planted in my pots this winter. I have been watching them for several weeks. They don't seem to be growing very fast, but I have caught one eating a fairly sizable bug.

The sunflowers excrete a sticky substance creating some very interest drops on the plants. 

Any other year, I would have "weeded" these out and gotten rid of the bugs, but this year, I am grateful they are offering so many photo opportunities.
