Home sweet home

As much as I love to travel and experience new adventures, there's no place like home.

This morning as I sit outside enjoying the beautiful sunshine (yes we have sun!) and drinking coffee in my new (birthday gift) mug, I'm reflecting on the past weekend.  We enjoyed a long weekend with Monday being a holiday and took advantage of it with our annual family getaway.  This year we stepped it up a bit, saved a bit more money and enjoyed the spectacular Drumkeeran House just outside of Pemberton, BC.  It surpassed our expectations!  Lots of room for the 14 of us with plenty of activities for all ages it was our little weekend escape.  Memories were made, family bonds forged deeper and an even greater appreciation for all that we have.  Can't say it enough people...life is good.
