Mr and Mrs Little Ringed Plover at the scrapes today. Always forget how truly wee they are...and how bright the yellow eye-ring is!
Also saw a few gadwall, but nothing much else. Hope all the birds are hidden away breeding and building up numbers for us all to enjoy seeing later...
I don't usually do an "extra", but I was amused to see the gadwall being chased off one of the ponds by a very tetchy shelduck.
