Life on the Edge

A beautiful day, warm and sunny with some cloud cover.

Our friends from Huddersfield have come over and are renting a caravan in Cayton Bay for a few days.   We called over to see them yesterday, good to catch up and then today we met up in Scarborough.   

We caught the bus - another first for Holly!   She took it all in her stride and was curious, watching people get on and off.   We could not have done this with her last week, she is so much better now.

We had a very pleasant day, it was very busy, families on the beach, the donkeys were very busy, giving rides to the youngsters.   It will certainly be busier at the weekend especially if this weather continues.

We saw these Gulls on some windowsills nesting and feeding their young - no doubt on fish and chips!    Perpetuating a taste for them in their young!   The spikes don't seem to be putting them off - in fact helping to keep the nests in place!
