Saving up

I should have saved this for when I had a rubbish day. I didn't have one today, although a couple of times the progress of the day felt like it was going to be derailed by the awful news from Manchester. I don't normally get too upset about these sorts of things - but the idea of a 22 year old man blowing himself up in order to kill girls was something I found hard fully to comprehend. Killing children is just wrong, wherever it occurs.

Left the office fairly pronto to walk over to Lothian Road for dinner with Mr A at Zucca and then on to Daphne Oram's Wonderful World of Sound at the Traverse. Excellent dramaturgy and soundscapes. Very stimulating.

Home to read that we can now expect to see soldiers on the streets.
