Distractions

Sometimes we all need distractions to help us escape from difficulties, pain, the horrors of life.  I escape into the great outdoors, usually just out the back door, into the garden.  Today, in the sunshine there were plenty of distractions but Onosma polyphyllum caught my eye, intensely hairy, protection against a harsh environment.  It thrives in the hottest, driest parts of the garden.

Picked up last nights awful news this morning.  No words are enough.
