A Sparrow Enjoying the Day

Helped out at School this morning, had morning tea with Blipmate and then went home to take another migraine pill. It seems the headache wasn't done with me.

When I started to feel a bit more human I drove to the estuary to take a walk in the fresh air. It was a beautiful day, all day. I tried to capture a flock of goldfinches - but they flew up so quickly there was no time to adjust the shutter speed. However, this sparrow was happy to sit on a branch while his little companions splashed and bathed beneath him, half hidden  in the tangled roots of the tree.
