Carved fish

This is a little carving I picked up at a market years ago and which I think is beautiful. I have used it for some first macro practice using my new camera and new macro lens which I've only had since yesterday so I'm in the extremely early stages of getting to know it. The wind is fairly strong today and anything I tried on macro outside was blowing around quite wildly, which didn't help since I'm really not at all sure what I'm doing with this new macro lens yet. Hence I needed to find subjects that would keep still!!! The extra is of detail on the tail decoration.
