Wells.

I had a few hours off and went on a shopping trip to Wells. I love the little high street which still has mostly independent shops. A rare thing these days. After a few small purchases I stopped for a refreshing cup of tea . The cafe was near the gate to the Bishops Palace which I thought was rather a nice blip.

Farming - Absolutely manic! Two on compost first thing. The Forager had to be repaired first thing as it had picked up a rock which caused about £1000 plus damage. Once up and running again the header developed as problem. Couldn't find cause of the problem so have overridden possible cause so we can continue to use it. Repairs on this on Saturday! Rusty out baling. Baler working fine but the wrapper is a bit of a b**ch (Rustys words not mine!) repairs on this tomorrow. Phone always ringing as customers book their place in the queue. Boys have just returned as I am typing this (23:42) .

Another sizzler on the cards for tomorrow. Mmmmmm!
