Ranunculus

The hubster brought me a lovely white with pink tinged tips ranunculus plant.  I do love this flower also known as Buttercup and Coyote's  Eyes.  According to Native American legend, it earned this name when the mythological Coyote was throwing his eyes into the air and catching them again to entertain himself.  Eagle suddenly swooped down and snatched Coyote's eyes mid air. Coyote unable to see plucked two buttercups from the field and used them as new eyes.

The ranunculus symbolizes radiant with charm and apparently a bouquet says..."I am dazzled by your charms".  I guess the hubster figured 1 plant said it all!
