Loch Ossian

A photo taken near our work site today.

Loch Ossian is a beautiful and remote loch on the traditional "Road to the Isles".
It is surrounded in beautiful mountains and is home to some of the earliest planted woodland in Scotland. Authorised access is via a locked private  road of some 12miles from the A86. The rambler's easiest access to this area is via train, believe it or not, to Corrour station which is not connected to any public road.
It was very hot today.
We need to come back here for fun.
