Come walk this way

I took Jimmy across York for a walk round the area where I used to live. We started off by cutting across Hob Moor and then into West Bank Park where this can be found. When I first lived in the area in the late 80s this pergola was dressed with various climbing roses which looked and smelled lovely for a limited time. I actually prefer it the way it is now.

The extra is a hole in an old dead tree which is inhabited by a very lively swarm of bees. Daren't get close enough to actually picture the bees!!!
