A time for everything

Monarch butterfly

Saturday
Since we were expecting the delivery of our new fridge/freezer this afternoon, we went out this morning for our exercise, biking on the Little Miami trail again, but a different segment today, starting at Milford, and heading south to its current terminus, just across the Little Miami from Lunken airport, where ultimately it will join up with the Ohio River trail. The last 3 miles or so were new to us, since they had been opened while we were in France. Around Milford, the trail was quite busy, but it soon thinned out. I spotted this butterfly flitting amongst the flowers at the side of the trail, and I stopped rather suddenly, almost causing Roger to run into me! We did just over 15 miles return, then headed home, where we had time for lunch and to get a few things done before the delivery men arrived. I am very excited to get our new fridge, as we have been waiting about five weeks for it! Our old one ( about 20 years old!) had packed up, so in the meantime we have had to use the one in the basement. Whilst we were gone for two weeks in Florida, it has become rather tiresome (physically and mentally!) running up and down stairs every time I wanted anything from the fridge!
