Hometown Holidays

is the name of a 3-day fest organized each year for Memorial weekend by the township to which we moved.  A food row, booths with services offered by the city and private contractors, a fake beach (with real sand) and carnival attractions for the kids, and more to my interest, four stages with performances running from 2pm-10pm on Saturday and Sunday. Monday will see a parade and more concerts. I have to tip my hat to the city: well done.

The main and extras are from today's performances, some of which were surprisingly good :) Loved watching the break dance competition and kept thinking I'd have to be carted away by ambulance and put into traction for a year if I had to execute those moves! ;)
