Vigil for Hate Crime Victims

The grieving family, the shocked citizens, the silent mayor, the angry ones, the Senator who asked us to hold hands and fight against bigotry, the eight-year old who asked for an end to this, the Muslim woman frightened for herself and her children, the Jewish woman whose friend was taunted on the bus, the black man whose friend was one of those stabbed and asked, "What are you doing?"
