A very special birthday

My usual trip to the supermarket this morning, then a slight detour to a friend's to drop off a bunch of flowers as a thank you for afternoon tea last Wednesday.

A quick trip around the woods to check up on the woodpeckers, which are still there. 

This afternoon we've been to a restaurant to celebrate a friend's 70th birthday.  What a lovely afternoon it was and as you can see, he's very photogenic.
