The glove of the fox

Just one of them.  One little tiny bit of foxglove taken on a walk around the locality of Braithwaite this morning.  SHH, the macro lens, the camera and me seeing what we could find.  I like the delicate hairiness of this individual flower.  The weather was a bit grey this morning but it brightened up this afternoon so we joined the influx of happy bank holiday people in Keswick.  We found a different parking place so survived quite well.  I was looking for some sandals - delicate and pretty but with a good sole.   Haven't found them yet but have found a pair that may have to do!

For those of you who go to London Blipmeets, I've put one on the Activities page for 18 July to the Hokusai exhibition at the British Museum and later the same day to the exhibition about Russia and the Revolution at the British Library.  Plans are in hand for an afternoon nearly at the Races in Stratford upon Avon too.  Probably July 23rd.  Will let you know!

Tonight we have had dinner at the Lakeland Distillery. Very very nice.  And I topped up the Gin supplies too.  All good.

Thank you for keeping my deep dark wood of a couple of days ago in the favourites pages!
