Riding the Circle Line

For our last day in London, we walked down to the river again where it threatened to rain. Then took the tube to Regent's Park to see the rose garden. People out enjoying a Sunday seemed to live around there, not so many tourists.
Finally, we made our way to the Barbican Centre to hear the London Symphony, a wonderful and thrilling concert. The huge hall was built in the 60's, has amazing sound, and was filled with folk who looked as comfortable and casual as concert goers in Portland. It did finally rain: we got nice and damp, then we dried off. I'm going to miss London big time, everything about it.
